Special offers for 50 permanent residents in Eastern Europe & Eurasia
For specialists who reside in Eastern Europe/Eurasia, ESTD (in collaboration with special donors) is offering special registration fees for a total of 50 participants. Specialists from these countries temporarily resident elsewhere, and scholars from elsewhere temporarily resident in the region, are not eligible for this offer.

Who may apply?
The reduced registration fees are offered to
- Specialists in therapy, who are members of the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation (ESTD) and who work with patients with severe posttraumatic or dissociative disorders, and who are not able to pay the full conference fee.
- Specialists in police, justice and prevention who regularly work with traumatized people, and who are not able to pay the full conference fee.

Please note: the number of sponsored registration programs is limited! We cannot guarantee registration to the conference with the sponsored registration.
You will be notified of your acceptance by September 11, 2017.

Number of participants
Due to financial restrictions, the reduced registration rates can only be offered to 50 participants.
Currently we do not know how many sponsored registrations we will be able to offer, as this will depend upon the number of donations we will receive. It may take some time for us to respond to your request for a sponsored registration, depending on the replies we get from people and institutions who we are contacting with sponsoring requests. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Normal registrations for Eastern Europe/Eurasia and sponsored registrations are accepted on a “first come, first serve” basis. Applications for sponsored registrations will only be possible until September 10, 2017, to give us enough time to check with potential sponsors.
In order to receive the reduced registration fee (even if you do not apply for the sponsored registration fees), you must complete and return the special registration form (available in two formats: MS Word Doc and PDF).

If you wish to apply, please send your application to firstname.lastname@example.org. With your application, please send us links to your workplace or the work you do.
Please note: Do not register to the conference via the website (www.estd2017.org) if you wish to apply for a reduced registration rate. When your application is accepted, you will be given a special link to register online. Upon receiving the link, you will have one week to register to the conference, so we are sure that you will participate in the conference.
Travel and accommodation
Travel, accommodation and meal expenses outside the conference are excluded from this offer and result in additional expenses.

Please note that the Youth Hostel in Bern is currently under construction and will not be open during the ESTD conference.
If your application has been accepted, you can request an acceptance letter that can be used for visa application.
